This is the first time I've heard this song. I was listening with ear buds without being able to see the screen. The little bit of echo and the sound bouncing off the walls and splitting on the corners some how made the song feel just as lonely as the lyrics would suggest. Sometimes sad songs feel good. The wind keeps blowing somewhere every day. Not dismal at all.

@@kellimoyle I've written quite a few songs and there are a few that you could really do something amazing with. I've been in bands since I was 10 but now I just write music and work on art projects. I would like to send you a couple of them but I'm such an average singer that I don't want to embarrass myself. I also don't have a channel and am quite a luddite with the exception of youtube. It's not that you need new material but because what you do resonates with me maybe my songs would resonate with you as well? If not no big deal, but you know as a songwriter that when you write a song, even if you had an intention for it either a person or feeling or moment in time, it still connects to people who oddly enough, know exactly what it means to them as if was written for them. As an artist I would always want to play with a band usually on drums but I've been upfront as well on guitar and piano. I've played a bunch of solo gigs and maybe felt comfortable once or twice. When I watch your videos I'm trying to imagine if you are comfortable and if you're happy. I am an empath and was raised by an empathic artist and saw how easily people who feel are easily targeted and manipulated like my mother was. I have to guard against it and end up spending a great deal of my time alone. Your newest song touched on a couple of ideas I had and I texted you, I think, on the short version of it part of a song or poem that I wrote that seemed to have a correlation to your awesome song. Anyway , you're unbelievable and let me know if you would be interested in hearing some some songs I wrote Tim

That means a lot, thank you… When I started learning this song, I played a picking pattern closer to the original- as I went on it kind of changed though :) I think you could find a way to make it work for you. Hi. Thank you for the other comment. Really- thank you… I know it’s not an easy thing. I really love Nathaniel Ratliff. I opened for him once, before he got so big. It was pretty amazing… it’s funny- the lines you mentioned, are the ones I relate to the most too. Along with “ just let go..” man… I’m no stranger to anxiety and fear has had more control in my life than I’d like to admit… That’s exactly what I was asking, and everything else made perfect sense too. You say you’re an odd ball- maybe it takes one to know one :) Thanks again! I will check out that other song as well. Cheers back!!
