I totally agree. Kelli really finds what John was seeking in writing this song. The fact the last time John Lennon saw Paul McCartney, as Paul was walking away, John said, “Think of me now and then”makes this song all the more poignant. Kelli has captured that.

absolutely gorgeous. been spending the afternoon doing a sore back day and just laying low and looking at some cover artists and have now settled onto something of a mini-binge on yours. love the contemplative interpretations! especially after this vid, i can envision you as sort of a u.s. version of julia jacklin. take a look at her video for 'julia jacklin don't know how to keep loving you' the paste studio version - i can hear you doing so well with that sort of accompaniment. not trying to stick my nose in your business... but just sayin'. okay, now... this one *is* sticking my nose in your business... do you do requests? i would love to hear a personal *contemplative style* look at dylan's 'positively 4th street'. that song has, off and on, since it came out, meant various things to me but i always sing it to myself without all the mouth-harp and almost asbury bounce he does it with all playing in my head. the lyrics are cutting and raw and, as phil ochs used to say about musicians he wanted to hear covering his song - i could hear that coming out of kelli moyle. anyhowz - what i meant to say when i started this comment was 'good stuiff!!!'
