That was great! Thanks for sharing. I'm new to this refrigeration but have years of experience with RES AC. Moving toward refrigeration as I get older!

It would be awesome to shadow you for a week or two! That was a great tutorial. One I will save to refer back to in the future.

Ha, nice. Just keep working on schematics and drawing the lines and before you know you will doing it in your head without having to draw the lines.

Excellent vid i might add when i see an overload trip on flaker type ice machines check the amperage like you did and find everything checks out the last check i make is make sure the bin stat shuts the machines down bcuz if it doesn't ice will back up has no where to go starts to back up into the dispensing duct and Adventurely causes a trip out

That’s a great point, I don’t work on these flakers very often.

It’s easier when you can draw lines with color like you use in the computer software, and it would be so much easier to figure out the diagram if they (factory) would print the diagram just a little BIGGER, great how you break down the circuits

Awesome vid as usual. Your creating a legacy man . Just a question but did it say in the manufacturer specs that you could up the overload?
@REFRIGERATIONKITCHENEQTECH Жыл бұрын
Yes, in canada they dropped the overload range for whatever reason so we are aloud to raise it if we start to get nuisance trips

Nice job how do you improve your wiring diagram skills ? Any tips and tricks
@REFRIGERATIONKITCHENEQTECH2 жыл бұрын
Practice, practice and practice. Once you understand the concept that the electricity is just simply flowing through the wire, all you are doing is following it until it no longer flows, almost like water in a pipe. At that point, you just need to figure out what has stopped the flow. Most don’t see it this way and struggle. A lot of my videos have a schematic breakdown, so watch those and soak it all in and ask questions.

The water flow going through my Hoshizaki km-201bah is warm to hot, but the water source is normal. It's been doing the single beep mostly and the 3 beeps occasionally. I changed the water inlet valve in December and I maintain it regularly and the water flow and pressure is normal. I bought it new in 2018 and I'm just now having this issue. Any idea what it could be?
@REFRIGERATIONKITCHENEQTECH Жыл бұрын
That’s odd, I wonder if the hot gas valve is open causing the water to get warm or the pump is getting hot but it would need to get ridiculously hot for that to happen

They are out of Orlando, but not very popular, I’ve only worked on a half full of them.
