BUT they don't have more than all the other parties put together (the overall majority) so they need another party to help. The only party which would agree to help them is a Northern Irish Party called the DUP. The DUP used to be close to terrorists in Northern Ireland and a lot of people don't think they will be a good party to work with. If the Conservatives can't keep winning votes of MPs in the House of Commons they can't make any new laws and there will have to be a new election.

Spaz Coyle what do you mean "what have the electorate done" 🙄 it's the effing politicians playing Russian roulette with Britain.
@spazcoyle18457 жыл бұрын
Live Life what I mean is if 17milluon people voted brexit then they should all have voted for may ,now we ain't ever getting out of the eu ,there is only one brexit and that's a hard brexit
@MerlynCooper7 жыл бұрын
A mandate for brexit and a mandate for the rest of Theresa May's manifesto are two different things, the result is about the conflict there.

I don't fully understand how this seats thing works but the fact May has a majority proves the British love her. What a brave lady and very wise indeed she is to have called a election. Perhaps one of Britain's greatest prime ministers of all time. She will be PM for many years to come. xx
@anthonyokenwa60247 жыл бұрын
Greenpoloboy3 err thats not how it works more people could have voted for labour plus she cant be PM anymord since conservatives dont have a minority

Is insulting +Greenpoloboy3 really necessary? if that's your response, I don't want to share oxygen with an animal like you.

I agree it is an ignorant comment but there is no need to be personally insulting.

Her majority is not enough to form a govt as they don't have enough seats. The Tories have lost seats since 2015. May wasn't voted in by the public when Cameron left. They have got what they deserve and I don't see how she is brave and wise, complacent and arrogant. One of the greatest prime ministers of all time!!??? Their policies are anti working people, elderly, disabled, destroying the NHS, education,...She will probably resign soon.
