Live: Happy New Year! London welcomes 2020 with firework display | ITV News

Thousands are watching as London welcomes 2020 with a spectacular firework display to celebrate the New Year.
The annual celebration is being held, as usual, at the London Eye, with fireworks being set up on boats floating on the River Thames at the South Bank.
Australia was one of the first countries to welcome the New Year, with displays in Sydney taking place around 12 hours prior to London's event.

SpeedStrengthJames just watched it again. NOPE it’s Euro 2020. It’s also at 8.50 which was displayed up twice. But this is taken from the rear of the display. This tells me we’re not getting out of Europe. And their telling us that. There’s other things as well, that we’re not getting out.

To those who plan to see the firework here in London, you need to buy the ticket for entering to the main zone (Before September!) otherwise you need to stay outside the event and need find the spot to see it yourself which is so bad because most of the building are covering the view. I went there and kinda disappointed becauae I didn't see the firework well (I was at Trafalgar)
