Its because of taste. Some like Beethoven more, others prefer Bach and some hardcoremotherlovers went nuts when Wagner appears. And the poorminded when Kollegah or 49 Cent went to hit the mice... I dont like his tempus and prefer other styles. But its good to see how different taste might incarnate

Yes, this was my reason to start the violin at the age of 46. Just to try and comprehend how this perfect magical bowed instrument can create such wonder with the unspoken melodies that it touches deep down in the depth of your being and evokes feelings that speak about every thing that words cannot express . Sarasate proves that music is divine . To embrace the 🎻 violin and forget the world.... is what is pure bliss

This piece does things to my ears, and the pleasure centers in my brain, that I just can’t talk about without blushing. I quiver, and give just a gentle squeal, at 0:23, followed by curious expectations. Then, that delightful climax, at 6:46, does things to me, oh my goodness, I feel like I need a smoke after... Simply the best violinist ever.
@the_bottomfragger6 жыл бұрын
whothinksimawesome The beautiful thing about classical music is that this statement in its entirety is absolutely false. Not only because it's subjective, but because there are violinists for every era, every style, every piece that they perform the best. Isabelle Faust has become incredible at playing Bach, Heifetz is insane at the light, virtuous french style, Oistrakh and 20th century concertos is almost unbeatable, etc. That's what I love about my job so much, you can never choose a violinst and listen to every piece only by him, if you do, you miss out a lot.

Pablo De Sarasate actually reminded me of Johannes Brahm!! Even though they were born several years apart! I can’t believe that his piece just after the first portion of Zigeunerweisen followed by the second half which actually sounded quite similar to Brahm’s Hungarian dances. I didn’t know why but the excerpt sounded so familiar to me because I used to listen to Hungarian dances by Brahm a lot I like this Spanish composer a lot, too though I don’t hear much of his music in classical music stations like KDFC.
