I saw Thin lizzie live in 74? They were excellent. This is definitely one of my favourite tracks by them. Your reactions are always good J, try a listen to Terence Trent D'arby, definitively worth looking into.

Saw them open for Queen in January 1978 - I was 17.. and I was there for Queen.. but I was astonished and totally drawn to Phil Lynott - he really was magnetic... I'm so glad I got to see them/him and so sad he's no longer with us... (one thing I remember is Phil having that bass guitar slung down around his knees.. I couldn't figure how that was working.. .in every video I've seen since, I've never seen him do that... )

Lizzy with the original line up, only Eric Bell can play that intro properly, an old Irish folk song but lizzy rocked it up

Glam rock meets irish folk, they get a bit well you know what with each other and they produce an unique and beuatiful child.

Great song by a great band.Yes Eric Bel can play a guitar and Phil Lynott could sing.If you really like rock/blues guitar, give Frank Marino a go with his 'It's Begun To Rain' or 'The Answer'from Live at the Agora, you'll see guitar magic.I hope you do get into playing the guitar, you can do it if you really want to.Thanks for this and stay well!

Their original lineup. They got even better with the twin leads.

TZJT, how did you get into this music? We heard Thin Lizzy in the village discos in the 79s, at 4 o'clock at night, when we were drunk over the bar. 🥴 Greetings from Heidelberg / Germany

A very cute and very sad story about Phil; he was a heroin addict but he tried to only inject in the veins on his feet as to hide it from his mother.

So sad. Phil L could have had years more. Superstar with charisma.
