Good thing about growing up back in the day was, one benefit, no phone at the party. Everybody was there to party. The dj was there to move the crowd. You'd never go to a party and have the ENTIRE crowd staring at a dj like it was a concert, even well known djs. That really started happening more around 2005. But like in the 90s you were there to dance, find a honey, and drink, pretty much in that order. Not to stare at Jazzy Jeff, or Mix Master Mike or whomever.
