I feel he's a man that would never take anything for granted, he's finds joy in the most simplest things. I've noticed in his more smaller, more casual gigs where it's just him and the guitar, he seems to put more into it then when he's in a tux on a stage with an entire band behind him. They could be referring to clarity, emotion, control, etc, etc. He also does have a powerful voice, he just knows when to switch it on/off. If you listen to him singing Make It Rain, I'm A Mess, or his Ruby Session performances, you'll see what I mean. He can fill up any room and be heard clearly without a mic, which is something you can't do without having a good level of power lol. To say he doesn't is just silly

If you're a fan of a huge musician, and a cover doesn't suit your taste, you hate the musician that does the cover. I'm a huge Dylan fan, and I love this cover, I'm touched to tears. Dylan changed over the years, just listen to Masters Of War from 1963 (Anti-War) and Lay Lady Lay from 1969. Dylan wrote love-songs, and when he did it was as beautiful as this one.
