Can You Trust Amazon Renewed, Ebay & BackMarket Phones?

I bought 3 phones from amazon renewed ( a iPhone x, S21 FE,S21) and they all are great i gifted my mom the s21 and she loves it and i had the iPhone and that was a steal and i now have the s21 FE and that was the best decision I made. I will be buying from amazon renewed again!

The last renewed phone I bought was an iPhone 12 Mini from Amazon and the seller was of all companies Verizon (yes they sell stuff on Amazon renewed)

I ordered galaxy watch 4 classic lte 46mm because I didn't really like the lack of a bezzel in the galaxy watch 5 pro and I got the amazon renewed deal for 140$ instead paying for a new one for 350$ ish, came in looks like new and it had no scratches at all and the battery life not bad too.

Battery life is always the problem with renewed or refurbished. Backmarket are the only ones who guarantee the health of the battery - at least 80%. People are fooled into thinking battery is ok just because it charges to 100%. These are ok phones if you are not mid to heavy users.

Realistically you can take the phone to apple and get a new battery. I have just bought my young son his first phone. It’s a iphone13 256gb for 440 euros excellent condition. In the local stores you can get one for around 550.. so I gave saved some money, if the battery is poor I will get a replacement..

how was your experience with Swappa? they have pretty good deals for used phones and I've heard good reviews about it. I've been told to avoid listings from businesses though and that individuals are better, was that the same in your experience?

I bought a samsung a51 from CEX in the UK used and it worked pretty good. Also to replace that phone I bought a samsung s21 from back market which was also amazing especially for its price.

I bought a S22+ from Amazon but I'm sending it back because it is locked to AT&T and I am not with AT&T. I got my S22 which I'll be gifting to my sister, niece or wife through Back Market. After I send the S22+ back I think I'll order through them again. At least I didn't have any issues getting my S22 to work on my carrier.

If you had to choose which company would go with Amazon Renewed or Ebay refurbished? I'm looking for a Samsung Tab S8. Both companies have the same price in excellent condition. I've only purchased from Amazon Renewed, but I just learned Ebay offers a year warranty. Now I'm confused. Any insight would help.

@RichMeYT yes, I will say this though I tried my luck and purchased a s23 ultra from back market for 839$. And the phone is actually perfect its unlocked and it works for all carriers. So although I had a bad experience the website is legit!
