I feel like kpop idols especially Itzy do a lot to connect with fans on a personal level. So such an intimate song is truly special for midzy. Knowing JYP wrote it is lovely.

Lia's part is just expressing what she has said many times in interviews. Her coping mechanism is sitting still and just internally focusing (she sits in the bathroom by the way, but that wouldn't be good in the MV) and she says online shopping is her stress outlet, so she often has many many packages and boxes that get delivered. The more boxes you see the more stress she had to relieve. Looking for that "one special" thing to reset her mind and let go of negativity.

@@incheonguy I see it more as she kept her insecurities and fears bottled up or hidden away. It's all symbolic. Opening the box is bringing those fears to light hence the line I won't deny my fear inside. To face them and move forward with the other members.

There's a phrase 'put someone in a box', meaning that the society (netizen) labelled / or forcing the idea that she's not good enough to be a main vocal or idol. Society often tries to put/shut you down because they have the ideal type or certain 'normal' quality. If you're different, you're out of their league. It might also symbolize that she's isolated herself, to protect the most important thing to her - herself. Most of Lia's struggle came from the fact that she has different quality of voice that is not very common among Kpop idols. K-pop fans usually like high pitch, light, and sometimes intense vocals. While Lia's voice is honey, jazzy, and a little bit of RnB. One day she realize that people's opinion is just an opinion, if you don't let it pass in your mind/heart, it can't hurt you. So she's getting out from the box and leaving behind all her insecurity (judgemental opinions), and participating in OST song (which is a golden opportunity). Well, and the rest is history. (Over the past of 2 years, you can see Lia actively share her photos via media, and very interactive during live session, indicating that she's gaining more confidence in herself).

Literally they are moving on from their "beginning" days and "frustrating" moments in life....running out of the same tunnel and as in their "Dalla Dalla" MV! Running into the light is saying it's time to move forward into a new era for ITZY. This song is so frickin good and is instantly one of my favorites from ITZY!

I don't follow Itzy, but this MV seriously got me. The vibes, the lyrics, the vocals, the expressions and the visuals. I seriously don't know that much about the group apart from the member's individual talent, but the MV made me want to cry and go for a walk to clear my mind. I for sure will hear this song when I am training.
