They want ITZY to release another wannabe because they were bandwagon fans that branded themselves as MIDZY just because of wannabe. Just imagine taking a song you love so much from any kpop group, and demanding that the group release a similar song every year. Thats how ridiculous the hate is, because they are surface-level follower of ITZY to begin with. The true MIDZY likes this comeback so much, and that’s a clear conclusion.

@@magpie685 yeah I get that. Even for me ITZY’s first 4 comebacks will always be nostalgic and OG. But these companies also know you can’t rinse and repeat concepts, you end up being stale and lifeless in terms of a group’s direction. Either path they chose would garner some form of complaints.

ITZY once again delivering on all aspects. Lyrics , music , performance. Bubbly ITZY in contrast with fierce ITZY hits different. That "Bust it up" part with the footwork is stuck in my head (like la la la la). As a JYPE GG supremacist I feel happy with this comeback. Very good job. Appreciate the reaction and feedback.

i absolutely loved this comeback like the song is so catchy and it gave me nostalgia to og itzy so much. i was smiling so much while watching the video because it was so cute. also i started to not care about what people say about itzy’s music because it’s very forced hate, this is the same people that were begging for the girls to go back to their og sound and when they did this comeback they still complained and went on to say that they preferred their past comebacks yet it was the complete opposite during those times.

They're going through the "gate" (except there's no wall) at 3:02 in their music video, 3:21/2 in your reaction video. Chaeryeong, Yeji, Yuna, Ryujin, Lia. That's surely based on how cute children look in actual security camera footage going through the baggage conveyor belts. Please, please heck out their B-sides which have music videos and really have stolen the show, as well as the performance of "Kill Shot" so far! They should have kept it unsimplified as (piece of) C-A-K-E cake, instead of the disturbing-to-some-Americans (piece of) K-K-K-K cake. Nobody suspects a Marie Antoinette reference? Yuna "Bratty" releases birds -- was supposed to have exploded into them? -- maybe as bird is 새 and bratty is kind of 새끼? I don't get it . . . The cake jackets in red-and-white Coca Cola colors are also playfully dishing Ive for cheapening their image in Pepsi shirts. What, besides the obvious reference of the spoof of Wonyoung falling out of the plane and then plummeting into the ground . . . Too bad losing to New Jeans on MNet today, Thursday the tenth of August '23! Itzy over New Jeans any day of the week IMHO, though it count for nothing . . .
