As someone that hasn't been a fan of Itzy, this song blew me away. So much so that I am sure it is going to be in my Spotify wrap in the end of the year. Not just in my fave list, but possibly my fave K-pop song of 2024. It makes me emotional and feel seen. Now that know what Itzy can make, I will start following them.

My 2 cents on Gold is just that I think it can take a sec to process. For me it's like Wife from Idle, like the first time I heard that I was ??_?? but now I am bopping along with it. With Gold, the switches in beat and backing track took me a sec to get used to / not get surprised by each time, but after that I genuinely love Gold. Also Imaginary Friends has made me sob repeatedly at this point, everything about their voices and the lyrics and the melody and the choreo and the MV and everything is just ✨ perfection ✨

I've watched a lot of reaction videos of this MV and yours is something different, interesting and fun. The way you reacted to Itzy's choreo was funny and I loved it. This is also one of my favourite songs after Born to Be (it's quite impressive in terms of choreography and the number of dancers) and let's hope Imaginary Friend gets the good reviews and the awesomeness it and Itzy deserve.

I love Gold it made for a live concert it so good keep your head shake while screaming. Imaginary friend is a comforting song. The best song in all ITZY songs, masterpiece of art of music. You are right most people said Lia's line hit differently coming from her heart the way she sing.
