In the beginning she is asking the girl what she is doing and she said she is preparing rice to be steamed. The little boy more or less says the same thing. Then they go and pick eggplants and she asked how many to pick, and the other girl replied three but they ended up getting just two. They cook it and then smashed it down (as you can see the mushy stuff in one of the bowls). Then as they are eating she asks the boy if the rice was soft and he said it's soft. Then she explains the dish names and then tries the papaya salad and said, "oh my, so spicy!" Hopefully this helps English speakers to understand what went down in this video (for any who happened upon it ^^). Just randomly tried my hand at translating, but I am not very good.
