Looks at IUPAC nomenclature of monosubstituted, disubstituted (including ortho, meta, and para), and polysubstituted benzene compounds. Lists commonly retained parent names such as toluene and aniline. Looks at scenarios where multiple parent benzenes are present and one group is subordinate. ( NOTE: In the case where multiple groups of identical priority ie two -OH's for would be phenols, I say that this causes the parent group to lose "priority". I mean that we no longer name it as a "phenol" and name it as an alcohol instead. The alcohol group still retains its priority based on "priority groups" nomenclature it just isn't named as a diphenol)
