The name is Haban ഹാബാൻ. ഇന്ത്യയിലേക്ക് വരുവാൻ മടിച്ച തോമ്മാ ശ്ലീഹായെ കർത്താവ് ധൈര്യപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു, എന്നിട്ട് ശ്ലീഹായെ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഗോണ്ഠഫോറസ് രാജാവിൻ്റെ ഭൃത്യനായ ഹാബാൻ എന്ന വ്യാപാരിക്ക് വിൽക്കുന്നു. ഹാബാൻ രാജാവിന് കൊട്ടാരം പണിയാൻ വേണ്ടി ആളുകളെ അന്വേഷിച്ച് അവിടെ എത്തിയതായിരുന്നു. ഇത് തോമായുടെ നടപടികൾ (acts of thomas) എന്ന gnostic രചനയിലും ഉള്ള കഥയാണ്. ജോസഫ് ചീരൻ അച്ചൻ മലയാളത്തിലേക്ക് തർജ്ജമ ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്.
