There’s also a video on KZbin where someone mixed them together back to back with an absolutely SICK transition between the two. Man when it goes from this song’s chorus straight into the “ba ba ba” part, perfectly on beat, it’s so so good

That because this song was basically where the chorus beat was originally used! Touch tone telephone got most beats from Ivanuska, but unfortunately that means this land is not officially in an album as a main song, it was only an extra song in spirit phone.

I could say that this is mixed footage from the Russian film "Morozko" 1964 which based on a same written story with the same name (yes , Ivanushka also based on it) I think paper puppets is mostly like to be based on a footage so... I guess yes

I am amazed to find this. This movie was one of my favourite movies as a child and still is among my favourites today. I only ever knew the german version, here in Germany it is among the traditional winter fairytale movies on TV. To see that there is not only a song about it but you also took the time and effort to create a music video brings me more joy than you can imagine. Thank you so much for bringing this in to my life!
