I saw somebody say this before and i completely agree. It was on a different comment section and i do now remember their name, but full credit to them. ive has 3 tiers. 1st tier - wonyoung - yujin 2nd tier - leeseo - rei 3rd tier - gaeul -liz i keep referring to these tiers everytime im watching a line distribution and its accurate in these orders majority of the time. I barely saw Wonyoung and Yujin in the mv lol. It was all about Rei and Gaeul, they owned it, devoured it, slayed it and what not. Also it might sound funny but Liz stood out to me more than Yujin and Wony did. They were just there singing and dancing. Leeseo also didn't stand out much. This song was like made for Rei. It was like she waited her whole life for this lol. I love them nonetheless and they slayed!

I hate that fans use Wonyoung as a punching bag for 'mistreatment' when her distribution is quite fair based on her role in the group.

I could forgive WY and YJ getting a lot of time during debut, maybe even the first comeback, because of iz*one’s success, Starship wanted to make sure fans were drawn to the new group. I can still forgive YJ getting decent time even now because she’s a very strong performer and vocalist, very stable and has a lot of presence. But there’s a way to utilize your strongest performers, your more popular performers, while still being fair to the entire group. XG isn’t a K-pop group, but a lot of K-pop fans know of them, so I want to point out how XG is a really good example of a group having diverse performers with some definitely being more popular and some being stronger performers, but the whole group gets to shine, they all get really good lines, and overall it’s pretty fair (except for Tippy Toes, poor Hinata lol). Even in K-pop, there’s groups we can look at with good distribution of choreo time, screen time, lines- I’ll even point out groups that are similar to IVE in numbers, such as EXID, ITZY, Red Velvet, and each of those group have members more popular than others, but the popular members and the other members are still treated fairly when it comes to distributing parts. Sometimes if a member doesn’t get a lot of lines, they’ll get great screen time, or given the center in choreo. A vocalist might not get the center in choreo very often but has a lot of lines. Personally I don’t think it’s fair to give any member less than 10 seconds of lines in a song, even big groups like Loona and WJSN, it’s especially not right when there’s six members and five get over 20 seconds while one gets 5 seconds. FIVE. Listening to the song, I kept thinking “this line would’ve worked for Liz” or “they could’ve broken this line into two parts, why ddthis one member get one drawn out, long line randomly?” I just feel for Liz. I feel for the whole group, but it’s especially sad for Liz who has gotten picked on so much. Wonyoung gets picked on a lot, but she’s developed thick skin, and she’s very confident in herself, so although I don’t think the hate is right for her, I think she’s good at handling it and has just gotten used to it. Liz isn’t as experienced as Wonyoung, she’s the second youngest member of the group, and while being picked on by the public she’s also pushed aside by the company. It’s almost as if they gave her less lines on purpose after she went viral for singing an Aespa song on a livestream so beautifully. Edit: just wanna say I’ve loved Wonyoung and Yujin since Produce48, and while I’m glad to see them get praise and good treatment from their company, so I don’t want any solo stans attacking me lol I even voted for them during 48.

@@gra6056 i watch their content so I know how they are, I said personally I still get a weird vibe because I feel like there is still blatant favorism shown in almost every comeback despite them being close. And it's been almost 2 years now and it's still ongoing, i could understand them pushing yujin and wonyoung more in the beginning because many of the other members were unknown and its a great marketing strategy but its kind of old. Especially when all members are acknowledged and have a solid fanbase. I don't really see that as an excuse anymore and its widely unfair to other members. For everyone bashing Starship for pushing Yujin and Wonyoung, you clearly don't know what happened to Weki Meki when they tried to distribute lines and screentime among more members than the better known Yoojung and Doyeon, who were known due to their I.O.I. time. Starship doesn't want to make that mistake. Unfortunately, this is necessary to make the group better known to the public, using those known previously, as Yujin and Wonyoung were a part of Izone.
