This truly is a girls’ generation and we’re here for it! This song is a major serve, I just love how diverse their discography is, literally there’s no two songs that are alike but somehow they all still feel very IVE. Kitsch is actually a real word Dezzy^^ It's a German word that describes something of poor taste, poor quality, and tacky. It's a perfect title, considering this is a song for their haters.

Remember though that even though a kitsch item may be low in quality or tacky/vulgar, or even imitation and eccentric when applied to art, it is ironically thought to be appreciated or considered so bad its good. I tend to think of John Water's films as being stereotypes of kitsch. They are tacky and have low production values but they are so stylised they have popularity and have gained a sentimental place and coolness with fans.

For those in the dark, kitsch is a 19th century German word for cheap art form that nouveau riche would buy to pretend they're classy. The whole lyrics basically is a clapback to the haters, "it's okay if you think poorly about me, I will enjoy myself in this cheap life". Ctto Got that explanation from another t channel I also think one part of the song is for their haters who criticize them for winning song of the year award (love dive). The pre chorus 'everyone copies the way i dance. I pop up on your algorithm everyday' Other idols and netizens do their dance on tikotok and other platform it went really viral especially the narcissistic part. Then wonie or yujin said 'cant control how high it goes its a crazy score. No one can expect this nineteens kitsch.! Like their saying why are you doubting us? the score and how the song went viral tells it all
