This song is SO incredibly catchy, I listen to IVE almost daily and have never had a song from them stuck in my head the way this one does. It’s lined with cr*ck forreal. At first I was also like ‘ok, it’s a good song’ but now it just doesn’t escape my head. I LOVE IT. It seems like groovy & funky music is coming to kpop and I’m here for it tbh.

When I first listened, I was like “hmmm okayyy”. And then I listened to it again and again and it’s SO catchy and good. Especially when you pay attention to how they play with their vocals and pronunciation.

People are used to beats, loud music and exaggerated instrumentals. But I'm personally much more of a fan of this type of music. Harmony, more acoustic instrumental and vocals. The bridge part to the end alone is better than half of the releases so far and I mean that.

This song is a bop! It doesn't seem like anyone caught it, but the "Love Me, Love Me" part is from the 1996 song "Lovefool" by The Cardigans. As a 90's baby I heard it right away lol

there are 2 samples in off the record....memory from cats in the beginning and lovefool by cardigans in the bridge....this track reminds me of the blondie songs...gal's talking in the midnight.......anyway it is the best song of ive again.....

*Off The Record* is my favorite song from IVE to this day because it hits a very sensible string in me: nostalgia. They outdid themselves to do so, and so did the producers. It's everything I didn't know I needed from the group and I'm so glad towards everyone involved in the making of this track for bringing this perfect piece of music into reality.

They had so many musically overwhelming releases so far, so such an easy going song is good for a change. Imagine them performing all their songs in a concert, such song would be a good break for both listeners and artists to get down a bit. Given the incredible MV, this song is also excellent for showing-off their acting skills. Starship is doing a great job at preparing their acting careers already.

interesting day.... (G)I-DLE, Jennie (Blackpink) and IVE release on the same day within a few hours from each other... As of right now: (G)I-DLE 1,9 Mio, Jennie 8.5 Mio and IVE 12 Mio. All great releases and great numbers, but IVE seems to be doing something especially right, when they come out on top so far. Liked this song (and direction of the MV). Not sure yet, if I like it more than "Either Way", but this is a great direction for them. Very curious about the title track now. IVE spoiled us this year... I think it's fairly sure at this point, that IVE will have "Group Of The Year" and "Album Of The Year" on my personal list. As for Song Of The Year, now multiple candidates from IVE on my list... I can't choose... what a run for IVE! Also: I hope they get a break after the EP to catch some breath.
