All stralis do not fit any filters on gearboxes, the only gearbox for stralis with filters is the Allison fully auto transmission.

I need to change oil to the manual transmission for Eurocargo and Stralis. I understand there's no filters, but from a quick glance I saw many bolts, I hope I don't take off the wrong ones, I have to look again. Is it only 1 fill bolt and 1 drain bolt? New oil is filled until reaches fill bolt? Also there are probably washers on the bolts, I don't know how to get the part number

In all the manual gearboxes the drain plug is the only one underneath with washer, the washer does not need replacing, the fill up plug on the side of the gearbox is always at 1/3 of the height of the gearbox and has the same hallen key size of the draining plug, stop filling when the oil start spilling from the filling hole, I'm about to makea video about it, but are only mercedes zf gearboxes, very similar to eurocargo and stralis, Ill try to share those vids tonight.

@@hgvtechuk4929 that's awesome! I watched all your videos the other night, and I'm planning on servicing about 15 trucks for my company. These days it's important to save some bucks... if the world wasn't going to shit with the cost of living I would be happy to give the job to a mechanic. The last thing I would need is to see how to open the dash for the cabin air filter, I was told it's a pain in the ass for the smaller Eurocargos. The manual doesn't say ANYTHING about the cabin filter

@@LinkinPark4Ever1996 All Eurocargos I know before 2019 are without steering filter, but if a European truck has one it will be inside the steering fluid bottle with a big round lid, all of those fit a similar filter.

Hi ! It all depends, probably you’re truck fit a ZF semi auto 12 speed gets gear oil 75w90. A fully auto like Allison gets ATF oil. Anyway better always contact a seller that by chassis number gives you the right oils options available for that gearbox or transmission model. Sorry for the late reply... and remember cooler place you drive and lower gear oil grade you’ll need

I spray brake clutch cleaner with Wurth brake cleaner pump dispenser, you can find the pump for 20£ on Amazon, I suggest this because last longer than the others makes

akendra kumar . Do you have any diagnostic machine for reading cylinders compression? The most common problem when fuel mixes with oil is a injector leak for know which one remove first need compression test with diagnostic machine or specific pressure gauge reader when removed the right injection the fault prove will be black dirt between washer / injector / head housing

akendra kumar . Other reason if vehicle been driven without water or been overheating in the past the head gasket can start leaking the cylinders compression and fuel through the block mixing with the oil in the sump

Hi Francis, my intention with this channel is to share as many information I can about this job and some of my experience acquired in 21 years, now I’m working as hgv psi technician for a 5 stars workshop in London , unfortunately now we are closed because COVID the air ports are not transporting food and for make a training course I would need permissions from director also because filming is been banned a month before lock down, till now I been just experimenting the audience with those videos anyway I was thinking on my next content I will get deeper into technical details and if you have any preference on a particular system functionality or mechanical part your task will be more than welcome

It depends on mileage, engine running hours or date of manufacture, in this case non c’era bisogno (didn’t needed in this case)
