Hey hun Congratulation on your bundle of joy❤️ im moving to Houston tx I’m on the journey of Ivf now I’m not going to start where I live now could you recommend your fertility clinic you use.
@AliciaLatrice2 жыл бұрын
Hey friend! Thank you so much! How exciting to hear you will be moving to Houston and are thinking of kicking off your fertility Journey. I've been with Aspire which is now called Aspire HFI. My first RE was Dr. Maya Kriseman whom I totally recommend and LOVE! She's now in the downtown area which I didnt want to do the commute with the amount of appointments you'll have so this time I am still with Aspire but with Dr. Jonathon Kim. I do recommend them but I can also add you to this FB IVF group I am apart of for Houston and the ladies provide lots of recommendations and reviews on clinics/doctors.

Hi! I really want to embark on the journey of using IVF and I’m doing research on it to see what to expect. Where did you send the embryos for the testing?
@AliciaLatrice3 жыл бұрын
Hi friend! So awesome to hear you're seeking to embark this journey! It's one I would do a thousand times again. I wouldnt be a mother if it werent for this incredible process. Each fertility clinic send the embryos off for genetic testing at a variety of different clinics. I cant recall who my clinic sent them off to.

I also had OHSS. I had to freeze all my embryos so my body could heal
@AliciaLatrice4 жыл бұрын
Oh no sorry to hear that! I had no idea what OHSS until the doctor informed me and it was really brutal and I also to freeze mines to send them off for PGS testing and allow my body to heal fully before preparing it for transfer.

Is this common practice for your clinic to put you on PIO and the patches? This is the first time that I’ve heard of a clinic doing that.. ( well the patches) I’m going to ask my clinic about that.
@AliciaLatrice4 жыл бұрын
Hi there! Yes my clinic does the estradiol patches and the PIO injections. I know some clinics and physicians use different protocols for example I have a friend who was doing estradiol orally and Progestrone by a vaginal suppository so every clinic/doctor does it differently :)
@jessicafrancis44964 жыл бұрын
Alicia Latrice thanks for your reply. Yep I’ve been on the suppositories- they aren’t fun, but I’m wondering if the PIO is more effective. It must be common practice in the states as I haven’t heard of it here in Aus. Thanks for responding and good luck for your BFP😊
@AliciaLatrice4 жыл бұрын
@@jessicafrancis4496 Always!! I've heard mixed feeling about the suppositories and overall hear its a bit messy. It's very common here in the states although many many many doctors still prefer to do the suppositories. I know many different areas also don't allow the PIO injections (like Canada for example you can't do it in the form of the injection).

Hello beautiful! I chose to do pgs testing. Of course there are a lot of naysayers against this process. Would you have done it any other way? Or do you think this Is highly necessary for IVF success?
@AliciaLatrice2 жыл бұрын
Hi friend - I found is hugely valuable to invest into and do! I've heard so many stories of women who continued to have failed cycles due to their embryos not being tested which ultimately resulted in mosaic/abnormal embryos being used. So to save you time, money and heartache I def highly recommend to do the testing.
