Just a helpful hint, if you ever have to self inject for anything make sure you use a quick, perpendicular motion. If you push slowly, it’s much more painful. The slower you insert the needle the more resistance there is. You will feel the difference. ❤️

Eleven!! That's a lucky #!! Hoping you get a really lucky # of blastocysts too❤. I never had an egg retrieval procedure but I did take those shots to stimulate my ovaries to produce more eggs and oh boy do I remember those cramps! 27 years ago TOMORROW my boy/girl twins were born ❤❤

Thanks so much for posting this! Could you maybe explain more about what it was like to get put to sleep? This is the part that freaks me out!! Like, what does it feel like? How do they do it? What does it feel like when they put the stuff in, like do you get sleepy or is more like wide awake to instantly out? Could you have stayed awake if you would have tried or is it impossible? Haha. Basically whatever you remember about that part would be helpful. Thanks so much!

Great job Mindy!. The anaesthesia can affect ppl in very different ways- i was lucky i didnt puke after being on it back when i had surgery last year. I also found some panadol re pain relief after surgery can cause chronic constipation- ie. Panadol Rapid which I will never touch again!.

Darling Mindy! I cannot even with your cute cap just covering your bun after the procedure! So adorable! You did so well, and you are so courageous and positive. Wonderful Larry, you are an amazing caregiver. I have never been a fan of people who prank people when they are coming out of anesthesia, and you were so gentle and loving. So grateful for the number of eggs and also grateful to be included in your journey. I so agree about the pain medication. Really can bung a person up. On a completely different note, I love how Larry made an allusion to "How Do I love thee?" Love y'all so very much! I felt everything on my egg retrieval 21 years ago. The medicine they gave me to relax me didn't take effect until after they were done..did not sedate you back then..lol.
