Love this!! I’d say nightlife wise, it doesn’t get live until 2/3 so definitely get a nap in before going out!

Back in the 80s there was a Club called Amadeus. Is it still around? Loved Abidjan back then.

I don't recall seeing a club by that name. But it might still be there

how much did the trip cost, (hotel, food, trip in between)?
@travelconnect14 ай бұрын
The trip was a while ago so I don't actually remember. I did a review of the hotel on my channel so you can check that out on my channel. Outside of that, I think my budget was about $150 per day. But yoh can do it for much much less.

I'm not Black, but Ivory Coast is extremely appealing to me.
@travelconnect1Ай бұрын
You don't have to be black to visit Africa. Just like I don't have to be white to visit Europe. It's all love
@dovygoodguy1296Ай бұрын
@@travelconnect1 I know, but i assume there aren't that many non-Black people snowbirding or living long term in African countries as they do in places like Mexico, Panama or Thailand. Retiring in Ivory Coast is appealing also because it's not tied up with the Woke madness, Globalism, etc!.!
@travelconnect1Ай бұрын
@@dovygoodguy1296 There tons actually. It just depends on the country. Many French retire in places like Benin, Togo, Cote D'ivoire, etc. A LOT of Germans retire in Namibia. It just depends on the country.

I thought US citizens didn't need visa nor yellow-fever card. They must have updated it
@travelconnect1 Жыл бұрын
Yep. During my trip, it was definitely required.

It is required, unfortunately I'm naturalize US Citizen and I have to get visa Everytime I go, the yellow fever is good for 10 years
