How’d you get that shit off like that? I add at least 2 hours to a job for ivy and just saw it off a little at the time as I go up

Hey TGCIII! If it grows on a bare tree trunk, you only need to cut around at the top and bottom and then make a single cut vertically. Then you can tear it off in one piece! Sometimes it's easier to do with a hand pruner!

Soren Satellit ahhhh seems like it’s mostly on pine trees around here and it won’t turn lose period. I hate it! I’ll try that next slick bark tree I run into. Thanks for the tip. Stay safe

I just did a fir tree wrapped in ivy just like that oak. the vines had roots growing into the bark, I had to use pry bar to get it off about 2 feet a time . Thanks for the videos you do.
