That's how you keep it simple, yet cover everything. The quick cleanup and escape techniques at the end of the video were too funny!

I need to get one of these. Trees are so beautiful and huge!! Love nature. Wow that tree is 63ft tall. I know in the tree world that’s nothing but it’s still massive. I wonder if this way of measuring a tree height is more accurate then the yard stick method

Have a 35' magnolia tree that needs to come down, trimmed back as far as I could on the ground with an 18' reach pole saw. Few obstacles but have limited tree felling experience and hear that cutting from an extension ladder isn't recommended.
@SorenSatellit25 күн бұрын
Yes, stability, ladders and tree felling (tree pruning) are not compatible...especially because branches or parts of the tree easily hit the ladder on the way down when they are cut. If you've done what you can from the ground, then let a professional do the rest.

What's the point
@SorenSatellitАй бұрын
Thanks user-oi6bq8wy4w The typical reasons are to avoid: 1. Noise nuisance: Rooks can be very noisy. This can be a major nuisance for people living or working close to the rooks' nesting sites. Especially places where people have to rest/sleep during the daytime (for example: nurseries and hospitals) 2. Contamination by droppings (For example: Playground, parking lot) 3. Ecological balance: In some cases it may be necessary to control the rat population to protect other animal species and maintain the ecological balance in a certain area.

How do you treat work from 1954 to 1975. Every tree is different every letting me takeoff is different. Every tree take down is different. but I will not tie in to the same part of the tree I am removing or using for leverage, and I would never put a safety rope around my waist while I’m tied into a different area in the tree You need to have room to move to get out of the way if something goes wrong and a lot of times it does

How often does the battery backpack get in the way during climbing? Is it worth the reduced weight of the saw?
@SorenSatellit7 ай бұрын
Hi TheKopakah! I would say never...it hasn't given me a single problem! The battery doesn't stick out any longer than your tool carabiners on your harness. And you will also not feel the weight of the battery at all, because it's transferred to the climbing rope. All this makes an ultra-light saw and noticeable less load on your elbow and shoulders, when the saw is in operation.

Love this kind of work, anybody can cut and remove I with a crane. This is why I chose this profession.
@SorenSatellit7 ай бұрын
Hey Kenny! It looks like you have a pretty good control on trees and cranes. I've only taken down trees with a crane a couple of times. But my little experience has given me the idea that the profit quickly disappears when the big machines get involved in the task?

My throw line is still on the wheel, i take the end, put thtough big ring, tie to throw bag, throw over branch, then through small ring, attatch bay and pull.
@SorenSatellit7 ай бұрын
Thanks for the great input Craig! I have also learned that version but I have often been entangled in situations where I had to separate the throw bag/throw line from the the friction saver as the standing part also had to go up the tree because the throwline was in unwanted complication with branches. But I'm also not a throw bag sniper.

Thank you, Jessel8833! Yes, it will quickly run smoothly if the guys know the principles. But there are still some who have natural skills at the rigging block and others who don't. My best man took things the direct way down and landed it like a feather...from day one at the block?????
