I think this was HGM server. There is a website where you can see all of the servers and how many people are playing. It’s called getserve.rs The servers are at the peak during the evening after 5PM est. some days the servers can be kind of dead. But there are always people playing! Thank you for your support! ❤️😎

Isn't the steam version of mw2 unsafe? i.e. People can get remote access to your PC? I've been wanting to download iw4x, but this has been worrying me.

IW4X is the Client version of MW2. It’s separate from steam. There is no risk when you play IW4X. Go have fun ❤😎

⁠@@alface935so for cod 1,2 you can play those on steam because they use a server browser which makes it safe. And for cod 10(ghosts) you can play it through alterware. Search up IW6 tutorial if you want to play ghosts. Not many people play anything after cod 9 though. Hope this helped❤

The Steam versions of these games are unsafe, but some Call of Duty titles have now been released on the Microsoft Store. They use different servers (like Xbox Network instead of IWNet), so they might be safer. However, the multiplayer is dead right now since it was a silent launch. The games that have been released so far are: Call of Duty + United Offensive Call of Duty 2 Call of Duty 4 (2007) Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2011) Call of Duty: World War II Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Call of Duty: Ghosts Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 (BO3 has two editions: the Multiplayer Starter Pack, which is the cheapest, and the Zombies Chronicles Edition, which is the most expensive). As you can see, these games have been released randomly, so if you want a specific title, you’ll just have to hope it gets picked. Im waiting for Black Ops 2 and World at War

The only cod games that are unsafe and risky are the ones on steam without a server browser. IW4X is the client version of MW2 separate from steam created by fans. There is no risk when playing IW4X, plutonium, or other alterware cod games.

You’re absolutely right! Unfortunately I don’t think Activision would ever get rid of Warzone or the micro transactions. I will do everything I can to keep the old call of duty alive.
