I had tendon reconstruction surgery in July and have been using the IWalk 3.0 with great success. The walker allows me to climb stairs and use my injured foot leg to actually walk. Because I am still in a hard cast, I’ve had to create a small cushion for my knee to compensate for the edge of the cast just below my knee. Otherwise, the IWalk 3.0 is a great alternative to standard crutches for lower leg injuries. Balance and a reasonable level of overall fitness is important to be successful.

Exactly like mine. I also injured my leg (a heavy chimney pipe (sandwich pipe) fell on my leg and cut the tendons that hold and lift the foot up. I have an unfinished house, a lot of work. Now I can supervise the builders and do some work myself.

Oh, Crap !!! I can't get used to it but maybe I shouldn't give up yet. I still need two crutches but I've only been trying for maybe an hour total. How long does it take on average to get used to them. Actually, I'm 80 years old but really good for my age.

Nice video! I actually have gout right now and I’m stuck at home using old traditional crutches. This is what I need, so I can go back to work and just move about outside. Thanks.

Nice review. But a good tip. When going down steps. It is smart to go down backward. As you could see in the video going down facing forward you foot can hit each step behind you.

Everyone should also look at a freedom leg to compare their options and especially if you don't want to injure your nee or already have an injured knee. I am currently using an iwalk and want to try a freedom leg to save my knee

it looks helpful, but scary if you turn around and smash your foot into an obstacle. with the freedom leg you have better control of where your foot is

The instructions say that the straps have to be really tight/snug to work correctly/safely.
