Get an aircompressor with a tank and a second water filter between airbrush and hose. I live in a humid climate and water build up in the compressor is a thing

you mentioned tip drying because of humidity...anything to do about that ?

No probs glad you enjoyed it and I recommend that you get a compressor with a tank (so it doesn’t have to work as hard) most will have a moisture trap on the unit but you should also have another moisture trap nearest to where you are airbrushing , I also run an Amaxi filter which will be another barrier for trapping moisture 👍🏻

I got an Iwata HP-B but the nozzle broken off and got lost :/. They are tiny. Looks like a common problem on some Iwata's when search on the net. The nozzle to mine cost 70$. :/. I'm going back to *'Harder & Steenbeck'* Evolution Airbrush i had for meny years with 0 problems. I like *Harder* *&* *Steenbeck* better then Iwata, Now when i'v tried both brands. They are around same price range and quality. Both are good brand.

I considered a Harder and Steenbeck but for me at least the price difference was significant.

@@PatGilliland Depends which one you mean. The Iwata Eclipse is most similar to the stock Ultra - their beginner brush and normally cheaper than an Eclipse, even the new model from this year. The Evolution is more expensive but they are "better" out of the box than the standard Eclipse and costs more. The Infinity is H&S version of the Custom Micron - a very fine detail brush and like the Micron is MUCH more expensive than the Eclipse.

Thanks fir this! I love the small cup for miniatures, where a typical 7-10 ml cup is much larger than normally needed. Curious what your experience has been between quick connects for US and non-US brushes. For example, when I plug an Iwata quick into a Paasche hose adapter, it will fit and spray, but the quick dimensions are slightly different and a twist of the hand can easily generate some leakage at the quick connection.
