Console esports are so much more popular in the US and that draws away a lot of the gamer population. NA has a significantly smaller pool of league players than any of the other 3 major regions, even with imports it would be surprising if we didn't struggle internationally.

Every player can have a bad series. He played fine during the FNC series, bruv was probably Hella nervous xD I was way more worried about APA and yeon internationally but they looked like they massively improved throughout most of the tournament. T1 definitely looked weaker this series and I'm sure they'll look a LOT cleaner in their rematch vs G2. But TL at least..isn't rolling over and dying, and aren't afraid to fight. That's an improvement and that's honestly all NA can hope for atm xD

As disappointing as it was to throw game 1 and 2 and to lose the fourth game in this fashion, TL improved a lot. Even when admitting that T1 looks terrible the entire tournament already there were a lot of positives in TL's gameplay. My worst gripe was the drafting, I do not understand why we gave Taliyah and Ori instead of allowing the Azir and playing Aurelion Sol every game where we don't get a Taliyah first pick. APA got clapped in game 1 but the pick wasn't the reason why it that game was lost. Without relentless inting he could easily have scaled to oblivion. Also I disagree with Dom on K'Sante. The champ is still a giga pick, especially against T1, Guma on his current picks will never kill a K'Sante, all you gotta do is ban Vayne....

Man this might be the goated G2 run for MSI. They can pull off the win going through four BO5s vs top Asian teams. G2 has cleaned up their game enough to be competitive and they have shown that they can and will exploit mistakes made by the Asian teams and snowball. All five players had games where they showed that they can compete and that G2 can win through all three lanes. There is currently no obvious weak point to attack in that regard. I still think that it's going to be very hard if T1/BLG/GENG clean up their act but this year all of them seem beatable for G2 looking at their current form. At the very least we will see another competitive series against T1.
