Basically, spider powers are a curse: 1. Without his powers, Peter quickly loses the fight to Bonesaw and is forced to leave without the reward. So, he doesn't even come across Dennis Carradine and goes straight to get a ride with Uncle Ben, who remains alive in this timeline. 2. Norman Osborn becomes the Green Goblin and kills his opponents, but he would have no reason to kill Peter. In fact, if Norman were alive, Peter would have countless advantages... - Norman admired Peter and wanted them to work together at the same company. - Norman thought Mary Jane was gold-digging, and he was certainly right. Every time she broke up with someone, she went into the arms of someone else. If I were to guess what happened in the timeline, I would say that both Uncle Ben and Norman kept advising Peter to give up Mary Jane. - Harry Osborn would have no reason to be at enmity with Peter, because Peter never managed to date Mary Jane nor did he cause Norman's death. - In this timeline, butler Bernard wouldn't have revealed that Norman was the Green Goblin, and Harry wouldn't have become the New Goblin so soon either. - In fact, the green goblin would be a highly protective factor for Peter and Harry, as he would certainly kill all enemies that threatened this family. 3. Living life normally, Peter wouldn't waste time being Spider-Man, and Dr Connors wouldn't complain about his poor grades and that Peter hadn't written his paper on nuclear fusion. In this timeline, Peter would certainly have done this in advance, which means he would also have already detected the error in Doc Ock's original research, just as he did in the original timeline. In this timeline, Peter would be smarter than ever, and would have had more time to prevent the nuclear fusion accident, and Doc Ock would not have become a villain, but a renowned scientist. - In short, the second movie might not have happened. 4. Recalling the original story, Peter won over Mary Jane by saving her in the robbery as Spider-Man, then saved her again from Doc Ock. None of that happened in this timeline. So, this has very serious consequences for the story of the last movie... - Peter and Mary Jane probably wouldn't be dating the place where Venom's meteor arrived on Earth and Peter didn't become Venom. Since the symbiote didn't know Peter, it picked up someone else, or went straight to Eddie Brock. Eddie wouldn't have much reason to go after Peter either, because Spider-Man doesn't exist for them to take pictures of. - Peter would not have prevented any of the Sandman's crimes. So surely the Sandman got the money to save his daughter in advance. - Eddie Brock, if he had become a villain, would probably give up being a photographer and live committing crimes. - Peter would never have given the symbiote to Dr Connors, and he also wouldn't have had a chance to become the lizard. - Most likely Peter would have married Ursula Ditkovich, and not have paid any rent for the rest of his life. - Harry wouldn't be in the fight against Venom to be killed. - Mary Jane would have died to Venom, or survived and married John Jameson, who would take the entire curse for himself. So this comment is just a joke, but I think Peter would be happier without his powers.

In the 3 movies at least she jumps guy to guy. First with flash, then harry, then peter, then a astronaut, then back to peter, then back to harry (under threat) then finally back to peter. Peter was kinda treated like crap by her. Even when she saw who he was. I get being a secret super hero would be hard to deal with but she has to understand that he's using his powers to save people. I wish they wrote her to be more understand at least in 3 once she realizes who he is. Its like a woman married to a soldier who gets deployed and then gets mad and cheat on him because he away from home for a year (sometimes with holliday visits).
