Due to the dynamic changes in the battlefield and the necessity of a potent 7.62mm cartridge weapon with superior performance, granting the troops an innovative, powerful, accurate and reliable weapon that can be rapidly and easily deployed in all combat situations- IWI created the TAVOR 7 7.62X51mm Assault Rifle.

K&M, and Desert Tech already released their bullpup .308 rifles. Their prices are between $2000 and $2500. In my opinion if IWI cannot sell it for the same price range of their competitors it may have a bit of a harder time making sales although its plus side is the design has been proven for about 17 years.

It is a free floated barrel. All barrels, and i do mean ALL barrels, experience harmonic fluctuations with every shot fired. Accuracy can be had from any profile barrel. Repeatability and reliability are what count for a battle rifle.

Tavor 7 aluminum rifle chassis is spaced plus 1/4 inch from the plastic butt without metal reinforcement for a 308. There is no solid rifle chassis mount on the shooter's shoulder. How can we solve this serious problem?

Since this platform overall is only for a cleaner(urban) environment, it'd be great for CQC and medium range scenarios since it's short enough, but 7.62 NATO can easily take down anyone or possibly anything up close. So this could fill a law enforcement roll for SWAT or counterterrorist units, but that's just a thought since it can't survive a mud test(InRangeTV).

IWI customer service, I have a question about Tavor 7. So far I have read all articles about this rifle I could find on the net, but I couldn't find any info on what happens to the ejected brass after it has been ejected out of rifle? Any dings on the ejected brass or any other kind of damage? This is important for us reloaders who want to save the brass and reuse it. Any input on this matter will be greatly appreciated.
