I have one, potentially not invasive question... How do you guys deal with the electrical tape residue.... I've done several difference harnesses over the years and I have tried several, unsavory ways to make it work (when I was 15 I actually used dawn soap and a rag... in retrospect I am worried what that does to the insulator), later I tried googone (not bad, but leaves a sheen that sucks....

Hi William. Generally, a basic degreaser diluted will work just fine, but it's always a mess is the best answer. We use a specific tape that does not leave a residue, just like the tape found on a factory Subaru harness.

I actually do wiring for control panels for oil/gas automation. I love wires, but I can appreciate when someone has perfected a process and has access to new connectors (Sumitomo or whatever)

So I have a 2003 2.5 rs, bought a JDM 2.0, swapped the intake manifold from a wrx. I also bought a wrx bulkhead harness. I am trying to get all the little stuff and all sensors for it. What else am I going to need before I send the harness to you?

Here in the states of course got the n/a 2.5l so in 98 the rs came with the dohc 2.5 then in 99 went to sohc, will this harness work on the any dohc n/a 2.5? I have a 99 legacy 2.5

Hi there do you ship to UK? my other half is in the process of building up a WRX Blobeye which was originally converted from NA But the previous guy pretty much hacked the wiring harness. my other half has managed to get 90% of it working but he's having issues with seat belt plugs, wiper motor not working, fuel level sender not working any help would be appreciated, the car runs perfectly, seems to respond well it's mainly electrical issues as he want's to get it MOT ready (smog) what's the best advice you can give him?

Hello, yes we do ship to the UK. Our best advice is to start eliminating variables as best he can and go from there. Also the wiring diagrams from both cars will be his best friend.

@@iwiresubaruwiringsolutions5538 appreciate it he said, he said he will look into the guides, he knows the wiring loom gone in is from a legacy XT he was unsure why the previous owner would do that instead of a blobeye saloon WRX, he also found out that the issue with the fuel level could be that the previous owner did not install a WRX sender unit could that be the cause of no fuel gauge response?

Do you guys recommend anyone on the east coast? I live in va and bought swap rs coupe. Looks like the wiring was diy. Motor sounds healthy and everything electrical works. However I’m getting an engine code for o2 sensors p0031 and p0037 and a bunch of tgv codes. Motor is an ej207 v7 so I know tgv codes are there because the v7 has no tgvs. Also Running a usdm 02 wrx ecu. Planning on buying Jdm ecu soon so I can get the avcs working. Any help would be appreciated!

Hi there I have a RS subie 99 already swap with sti but I don't think the previous owner replace the harness with a new one, do u guys recommend to put a new harness instead?
