Hi again Scott, got my 105 new cloud wheels and my 3X today, I love this board and new I would since I had a wowgo 3. The wheels are so perfect I could not have imagined. Softer, perfect size, no wheel bite even though I have the trucks pretty loose and just the perfect combination. Lost a little bit of torque but still takes me up the steepest hill where I live. Not sure what the English evolve fan boys are on about, I may not carve as hard but I am doing it pretty deeply and see no problem with grip!!! Has handled rough roads and because if the convex shape it does not jar as much. I am so happy!

Awesome review! You should test out the Slick Revolution foamies. They are 120 mm foam core wheels. I feel like they should be a better 120 mm choice for those who want the bigger wheel.

Hi I was going to say the same thing. Both wheels are made in the same factory in China. So the Clouds 120mm wheels are the same as the Foamies 120mm wheels. 😀

So far I've not have any problem with the 120mm cloud wheels yet but really love it though I see people who don't like it give it a bad name for it n saying these wheels ain't good for shit was getting mad cuz I putting my life in danger ridding my REVEL KIT n saying that cloud wheels is dangerous, man the cloud wheels help me going through ruff roads smoothly one of my ride on my meepo 100mm I flew off head first my KZbin videos ride gone bad,soo, saying that I know what these wheel capable of n yea love these cloud wheels

Scott Davies halved the range on the Evolve 1 ...crazy impact on range. I think the 105mm look like they will be better all round wheel balancing torque, top speed and range than the 120mm

Hi I really like the Black Carve it's got alot of power and with those wheels, it's brilliant for going into town or the bank and having fun 😀 I started off with a Meepo mini 2 with I think is really good for the price. I'm 45 now and didn't think I would get this into it! But I love it it's great fun. I'm also overweight but have I have started exercising and lost some weight, So board goes faster the more I lose weight ha ha...Mark ✌😝

Hey Scott great video keep up the good work. So I'm getting a board next week, it's either going to be the the Verreal RS or the Exway Flex. Since you seem to be the only one with these two boards you're the perfect person to ask. Which one has the better acceleration and braking? I know the RS has the bigger motors but it's also heavier. Firstly, Good choice! Both are great. The RS is a powerhouse Awesome power and good brakes, The Flex has good power Amazing breaks (in free mode) and far more tech, like the smart battery etc. The big positive for the RS is all the battery options. you get up to 19.2Ah which is insane. The RS will climb hills better and get a higher top speed, EXWAY, has amazing trucks (my fav out of any board) Hope this helps ?? Let me know what you decide Scott

@@scottdaviesyoutube Looks like I'm going to switch out the Flex (which I think is the best board under $1000) with the Onsra BC Belt Drive vs the RS with the 105Ds and the Tesla batteries. They're both belt driven and they both have the minimum torque, range and wheel sizes I'm looking for. So I'm going to it give a few weeks to see more videos on the BC especially since they've updated it even from a few weeks ago. Hopefully you do some comparisons with the RS with those 105Ds and other powerhouse boards so I can get an idea of how it stacks up:)

They do fit. But you can’t do as extreme turns with our bite The stock wheels very good and super soft only real advantage the CW have are they are bigger to roll over cracks a little easier

I’m using an onsra black carve dual belt. I ordered the 40T Metal Abec pulley from onsra but I’m not sure if the new discovery cloud wheel will work on them. I suppose if the onsra pulley isn’t compatible I’ll have to fish out extra cash and get a pulley kit from iwonder

Ramon Solorio the 115mm rubber wheels are great for comfort rides but reduce your range by a lot depending on weight etc. the roads in my area aren’t bad enough I need that kind of comfort. I’m okay getting the cloud wheels and sacrificing a bit of comfort for more range.

No cracks so far with 300+ miles. I’m tempted to try the 105’s but not totally sold. Convince me I sheet the 105’s. Also I have the backfire g3 and hear you saying something is coming. I hate the iWonder extended pulley set up and world never buy it. If you could pm me what you know would greatly appreciate it. Thanks and keep the excellent reviews coming.

Alan Schroeder hi mate. In my opinion the 105s are 100% better than the 120s Just all round amazing wheels. Now if your happy with the 120s don’t change. I didn’t like the noise or the hard feeling. Scott Davies I heard you say the 105’s feel sticky, have really good grip. The 120’s are known for how slippery they are at least until you get some miles on them. I’ve heard of some people getting theirs new and sanding/filing them down a bit to achieve a better grip. I’m wondering if the new discovery wheel is made from a little different composite formula than the first generation. From all the discussion, it sounds like the only change in the discovery is the clear core with no change in the wheel formula itself. What I’m trying to say is I would think the 120 and 105 wheel formula itself is the same. Meaning the better grip and quieter sound you find on the 105’s, might be the same on the 120’s discovery. I hope I’m saying this right. Do you think the smoother quieter ride comes from it being smaller and maybe add the improved core?

Got the Exway branded version of the 105s for the Flex and it came with the 36t pulley. Rides great but feels underpowered. The pulley for the 120s (44t) with the 105s may be the way to go.

You never gave us a tooth count on the Cloud conversion pulley. That would definitely have an impact on both top speed, torque, and range compared to the original 36T.
