Sarajevo's Red Line

I was young in 1992, but I was still old enough to know that what was happening in the former Yugoslavia was "very bad" according to my 8 year old thought process. As the years have passed and I've read and seen reports and documentaries of what happened the realization dawned on me that the word "terrible" doesn't do what happened justice. Even then it was hard for an American mind to fathom all of the atrocities and genocide that took place. Even viewed from the internet here in America however, the memorial is truly jarring and wrenching, like a great river of blood as a testament to those heinous and awful things done in 4 years laid bare for the world to see.

Malheureusement, il y a eu beaucoup de morts bosniaques, principalement de pauvres civils ( femmes, hommes et enfants) tués par les snipers (assassins), mais reste la conscience si elle est tranquille et je ne pense pas du tout, . Paix à leurs âmes.
