you could call it deep house - from chicago, the city house music originates from. it was produced by steve poindexter and felix the housecat (they're both credited on the label of the record that's in the video). unfortunately this is a really unique record, not much matches its emotional vulnerability, their other work is a lot rawer and more jackin'. another record in this vein you might like is mr fingers "what about this love". larry heard's whole catalogue is amazing
