I refoamed and upholstered it. Rebond then a couple densities of open cell foam. Then a waterproof fabric and the 3d mesh I had. But that didn't last long so I went with a vinyl top layer a year or so later.

What frame sliders you have

T-rex frame sliders. I dig them. They get a lot of deserved criticism on forums though, because they bend in an impact, to absorb energy. The bending allows them to crush your plastics.
