IXION | Behind the Scenes - Art

Welcome to the third video in a special behind the scenes series. Continuing with Art, Producer Christian speaks with Art Director Lucas Terryn and Principial 3D Artist, Arthur Chamerois, about the artistic vision for the Tiqqun and the concept art that has evolved into IXION as we see it today.
In the three-part series, the developers at Bulwark Studios discuss the different disciplines of narrative/game design, programming, and art with the game’s Producer, Christian Woolford.

The only thing I didnt like about the station in the demo is that it looked to me like all you can modify it with are things that must be added to continue the game and also solar panels. I think or atleast hope there can be a lot more attachments for your station, maybe armor plates, hangars, additional space for construction, etc. Also I believe solar panels should generate less or more energy depending on your position relative to the Sun.

I also find the look nice reminiscent of the first levels in the game Nexus: The Jupiter Incident beautifully realistic with gravity through centrifugal force. I just thought the streets were way too narrow that there were only one-way streets. And the roofs of the houses were not used to grow plants, because in a limited space like a station or spaceship every corner has to be used to increase the chances of survival. And why do you actually put the warehouses in the habitat ring, and not in the right core where there is no gravity? because the raw materials don't need gravity when you store them.

Please continue working on Ixion, maybe create some DLCs. Surface outposts would be cool or maybe add rpg elements to it. The ixion universe has a lot of potential and much to teach!
