The Orisha community has come such a long way. Did you know there is even an online dating website for us? It's called orishaconnect. com. It's completely free and hundreds of people are already there. Maferefun Osun!

There is nothing strange in our tradition and way of life, and there is nothing new under the sun. The Orisha religion is very old, and it predate Islam and Christianity. According to our Yoruba legend we Yoruba migrated from present day Saudi Arabia, when it was invaded by Aryan from East, The Yoruba then migrated to upper Nile and they contributed to great Nile valley mystery school of Knowledge, that is why our deities are very similar to the most Nile valley religion system, Like worshiping of Sun, Moon, Sea, Thunder, Metal and many more. Everything to Yoruba is living being that can manifested in to Spirit. Yoruba believed in the Supreme being God called Eledumare, Obanla, Obatala, long before European and Arab invader arrived to west coast were we eventually migrated to. That is why Today Yoruba are the most Educated African, you can find them in anywhere. And our Orisha tradition was retained despite all effort of European and Arab invader to crush it, it keep coming back because it part of every human existence to have a religion that is related to is own identity, because we all have spirit in us. Ifa mo sa dio Ifa mo pon e lehin Ifa damilohun kio gbere temi komi. Aseeeeee Wa

First to begin Orisha is not a religion but a way of life God give to Black People . Secondly get rid of idols they have in the parlay ( A place of worship ) God don't want those things according to the commandment ,you are ignoring the command of God .You must use blood offering because it is burnt offering and anoint with holy oil .Please listen to my words .

Orisa Religion is the Religion of the Yoruba people just as Vodun is the Religion of the Fon People. Idols called Ere or Aworan are meant to represent something. Yoruba people do not need to follow the commandments of Christianity. You are mixing up Christianity and Yoruba religion. One has nothing to do with the other.

@@ollybert7227 those Ere were used then to document events, which the people carried along in mythical forms (history /oral folks), and are passed down to offsprings!

Is a soul of the dead, not an aspect of God. Peace be upon the seekers of Truth that is love.
