I love Iyanla. Tough love therapy. She is our Queen Mother.
@OneLoveRSR2 жыл бұрын
I'm so bothered by people thinking it's "tough love." It's real life therapy. As long as you're real with her, she's never "tough" with you. It's only tough when folks try to run a game on her. But when you're willing to do the work, she's as comforting as she can be because you're working for yourself instead of working against yourself.

I have alot of respect and admiration for this woman. She went through some really tough times, and has enormous wisdom. however, the root of her wisdom is basic good old-fashioned common sense! layered with critical thinking skills. That of which is sorely missing in the vast majority of people today.

Hoda she got from there to here the same way "we" all do, one step at a time moving forward. We aren't born "there", we get there if we don't give up, "and still I rise". We keep rising until we leave this earth if we're still growing and wise.

I don’t know why this made me think of that. She later mentioned that he wasn’t financially secure and when her career started gaining recognition he could deal with her stardom. Poor guy.🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

You look crazy. You're not blinking and your eyes are about to pop out of your head. I bet the bridesmaid thing is not the first crazy thing she's done. But now it gives you a chance to talk about your wedding so you're going to be all gabby about it. Don't get married. Focus on staying out of jail and hospitals.

Some of their problems are often due to living such public lives, seeking public affirmation. Glad she is addressing problems of people who live privately, with common problems.
