I followed the recipe exactly the same way. The cake turned out delicious and fluffy. Two improvements I aim for the next time I bake it - The sides and top are little hard after baking, should I scrape them or am I doing something wrong? Also I think this one was little sweet for me, so I will reduce the sugar by half. But all in all the moistness was very close to Iyengar, I think baking soda can be 1/2 instead of 1/4 to make it softer or I think I can use Maida instead of aataa. I like it, I am a beginner but thought it would be helpful to share thoughts.
