DNA aside, I've visited/lived amongst both Ainu and West Coast Salish Indigenous and some of the cultural similarities are nothing short of astonishing.

As an American, i know that kind of language sounds very racist -but as an American i also understand you are trying to preserve something. As an Americans, we were never really were one race of people, and i honestly do not care what the eventual color of our skin is -as long as the generations to come love our Constitution, and its ideals. For most of us, ethnic origin is not important, but a willingness to integrate into what we are is essential. For you as Japanese, it is different. And may your hearts stay true to preserving your identity. You have guarded it fiercely. Don't give up on that. If you lose it, you don't get it back.

@@budahbaba7856 As an american you forgot your origins. In crontrast with the hispanic american countries, where people mixed up from the very beginning, the original invaders of North america coming from England exterminated the whole indian population and did not mix up. It has been only recently that you have changed your mind. In the borders you still ask people about race... Nothing personal, I am a person of peace, but let´s call things for their proper names. In Japan by the way, nobody asks your race when going tru the borders control. So you care about the race, as a country, dear friend ... People like you will change this, hopefully. Greetings

The Japanese are a mix of Jomon and Yayoi people. Ainu descend from the Jomon and the "Yamato" people are Yayoi. There's also Emishi and others.

@@budahbaba7856 America was always a Germano-Celtic country until the 20th century, the melting pot myth originated from a play by Israel Zangwill written around 1905. the difference in Japan and America (and also Europe to a similar extent), is that we have forgotten what it is to be what we are, it is blood that matters, not where you are born.

Ainus foram decimados pelos povos Yayoi. Provavelmente tens sangue Ainu. Mas em quantidade infima comparando com o teu sangue Yayoi. Os povos Jōmōn das ilhas japónicas desapareceram após as colonizações consecutivas vindas do continente eurasiático.

Aw, so melodious, this one is smooth and sweet, thank you! Such a precious work to represent their ancient culture. The voices are so pleasant to the ears and the stringed instrument is also softer than some others we hear in other videos.

The Ainu are not only related to the Tlingit & Haida, but also the Quechua/Aymara(Inti/Entei & Ai/Aini) and Mapuche of South America through the Jomon, with the Mapuche having strong similarities with the Ainu/Jomon of Hokkaido through their dwelling structures and the reverence of fire 🔥🌧🌈

This is so based. Literally drawn from the hyperborean age, their culture of bearded wizards retains something distinct, locked away from the rest of eurasia for 10 thousand years from the time of mammoths and doggerland. It is a shame that in less then 2 centuries the last bastion of this ancient race in north japan has been almost completely diluted by the modern mongoloid people. The Jomon shall rise again.
