on the stripboard of your schematic the Vactrol is the one that says OPTO? a commercial Vactrol such as VTL5C will work for me.
@IzharAshdot3 жыл бұрын
Yes. A VTL5C will work well.

Hello, I have realized that there are lots of pt2399 that are very noisy but not in the repetitions, but when given more repetition time, they emit white noise, since I have older delays that do not do so and reach very high times. superiors. Do you know something about this? Greetings and thanks

Nice video! This is the same chip as in the synthrotek EKO delay. Its a little crappy as a delay in terms of sound quality but if you want to get something lofi, noisy with lots of artifacts, its a good alternative

I love this and I bought the parts for my DIY synth, but I have one question, what is the 'euro' chip on the stripboard layout?
@cr0wland4 жыл бұрын
its the power connector

Looks Awesome! but slight confusion as to what the Zen 1 and Zen 2 are, also which Euro chip and Octochip you use?

fantastic video! DID YOU MODULAR-IZE A POCKET OPERATOR??!?!
@IzharAshdot6 жыл бұрын
John Verchot Thank you John! Yes, I incorporated the PO-20 into my Eurorack system with a laser-cut enclosure. It’s getting 3V by using a regulator fed from the 12V buss, and both the sync input and the audio output are on the front panel, making it easy to use it within a modular patch.

Your stripboard layout is a bit confusing. Can you please give the components list

Cool! Which optocoupler did you use?
@IzharAshdot5 жыл бұрын
Floyd Atema thanks! I made my own optocoupler with an LED and a photo resistor.

Nice Job! Could you explain how to build this device from scratch? Do you have electric chart? Also, would be nice to have link to delay board on eBay or aliexpress (I tried to find but no result).
@IzharAshdot6 жыл бұрын
a.levsha The video description now has links to the PT2399 on Ebay and to my schematic.

Thank you so much! One more question: Do you have an electric chart instead of strip board layout?
