My first AMV ever! I had no idea they took so long to make. I hope you like it, and tips are appreciated!
I've always preferred Shizuo, but lately I've been fascinated by Izaya and his twisted logic. He's messed up, and I love it;)

I love drrr this was one of the first anime's I've ever seen, now I've seen many anime's in my time but the key thing I looked for in an anime is creativity and I've never seen anything like this. I feel like if we would take out any one character In the show it would just fall apart.

Yeah I think that's what stood out to me, While I think people could argue Mikado is the main character, I don't think there is a set main character. At it's core Durarara is about a city and the people that inhabit it. That's why it feels so real. Still one of my Top 5 animes to this day and one I frequently have to rewatch 😊

This is magnificent, as Izaya is. I'll be honest, my friend showed me some AMVs and stuff for this Anime first, and I thought Shizuo was prettier, but when I saw episode two and that rooftop scene, I fell hard for Izaya, the man is just a delight, deliciously evil and captivatingly twisted. When he speaks, the world makes sense, and I was shocked when the girl jumped, because having once been in her position, I would have simply fallen in love with him and seized him as a reason to go on living - when in a storm of uncertainty, all you want is to feel like the world isn't just chaos, and despite Izaya's chaos fetish, the fact that the world makes such simple and perfect sense to him would have given me hope, because if it makes sense to him, then there's sense to be made, right? (It actually kinda reminds me of how I met my boyfriend, though he didn't nearly throw me off a building.) I will never love any character more than I love Izaya, and I hate knowing that he gets his comeuppance, because I want him to win at everything even though I know he deserves punishment. He is a majestic, dark god of chaos and destruction, and I'm only ever ecstatic whenever I see him do anything. Basically what I'm trying to say is that this AMV is amazing and that I'm glad you came to appreciate Izaya's "twisted logic", because it really is a thing of beauty (his logic and this AMV both). Well wrought!
