The gun is a very life-like simulation! As a parent I think it provides the opportunity to teach little ones gun safety without the added risk of an actual loaded gun. Each bullet cartridge is individually loaded and then each magazine clip loads just like the real thing! When using, the cartridge ejects and it must be cocked to reload. Very fun to use and play with but lightweight for even smaller children. Foam bullets keep gameplay safe. The pistol attachment and silencer is also really cool!
