I can't believe I got this plug in, and not just this basic version, but the production suite with pitch control and one other thing, plus ozone 7 advanced, plus trash 2, plus alloy 2, for $210. You guys, if you already own an izotope plugin, they're having a sale till November 11th. You get 5 plugins for $250. I got it for $210 on a website other than izotope.com. Go for it!

The pitch editor is the WORST pitch editor I've ever used in my entire life. Nectar2 is garbage. Ruins any vocal it touches. Instant cheap metal sound. For shits and giggles, I've even tried using the presets. No difference. This is iZotope's worst plugin IMO. And I LOVE iZotope. But this one just doesn't do it for me.

Yes. Easily. All you need to make a platinum hit is the tools in your DAW. It's a FACT that many world-famous songs have been completely recorded and mixed using stock plugins in DAWs like Logic Pro X and Pro Tools.

I would like to see reviewers of these type products comment as to whether they are compensated on non-compensated opinions or reviewers. I been looking for a good harmony module plug-in and chose this one (though I paid for it via paypal, and 2 days later, still have not got confirmation or access to the product) Vocals you used to demo was a good choice, and what little you showed us (very short review) us here seemed pretty nice to me when you toned down some of the settings.

I'm hoping you got that sorted out by now. What do you think of it? My opinion was Nectar2 was garbage. Ruined anything it touched, for me. This was a 100% compensated advert. Personally, I think it sounds a lot nicer to do the harmonizing without Nectar. It's also a HUGE CPU HOG.

Yes. And while he has a ton of AMAZING mixing tips, you _usually_ can tell when he's going into full-on Advertisement mode. It's usually around the time where he starts saying it sounds good on rap vocals. LOL. Such a buzzword. That's when I kind of let things go in one ear and out of the other. I love iZotope's plugins, but I think Nectar2 is garbage. Never liked it. It always has this sharp upper-midrange sizzle that sounds like shit to me. And that's why I wanted to hear what he had to say about it in this video. Sure enough... *all advert.* I can't hate on the guy for gettin' that money though.

@hermez Who cares if he gets paid or not? Really none of your business. If you don't know what Nectar is? He shows you what the possibilities are. Dave is the real deal. The guys not a lier. If he says he likes it... he likes it. If he says he uses it... he uses it. So don't be that guy (a dick) and insinuate he is just some kind of sale out.
