Just found your channel and I love. When I saw you fold a piece of fabric a big smile came across my face as I realize that this looked like a tie that I tied for the past 50 years. No more ties as I'm retired and I have taken up sewing.I appreciate your efforts to share your knowledge and your skill.

I just want to say thank you! I'm definitely a beginner. Your videos are detailed just enough for me.I'm 45, my kids are grown, and I've never made a thing in my life. In fact, I couldn't even help my daughter with her wedding reception decors because I'm just not mentally creative nor skilled craft-wise. (her MIL handled it all for her/me).I've finally made my first quilt thanks to Jenny from Missouri Star Quilt, and I'm absolutely loving your bags! I've just finished watching your LIANA series, and I'm going to try and make that bag. I'm pretty nervous about reading a pattern for all of the measurements and what not, but just by watching your videos, I'm going to purchase your pattern, and I really hope that when you say 'if you have any questions, e-mail me' that you will respond. lol (you are pretty detailed in your videos, so hopefully I won't need to bother you with questions)Thank you for showing the sewing machine steps too! That is crucial to me, to visually see you sewing a binding around a pocket, or the fact that you had to give the fabric a "push" thru the machine, lets me know I'm not doing something wrong. Thank you, you have no idea what this means to me...giving me a skill.....even my husband brags about my quilt. Can't wait to hear him brag to someone when they say 'oh, I like your purse'!!!

I have watched 90% of your wonderful videos but always wonder what sewing machine you use as it sews so beautifully and your stitches seem longer. Could you tell me the make and model of your machine. Keep them coming....

Love you tutorials. Your creativity is amazing. Your voice is very easy to listen to, and your instructions are impeccable. One question please. You mention the top fabric on your Mitered Handles must be a "biased" binding. Why won't a binding cut on the straight of grain work?
@IzzyMEIMsaab9 жыл бұрын
Hi, good question... bias binding is forgiving and will shift itself to make it sit like it was made for it... the straight fabric will work, but you have to be a very good sewer to achieve the same results,,,, for the sake of my subscribers who are mostly begginers, i try and do as much to come up with techniques which give best results :-)

Your knowledge and ability to impart same to your viewing audience is awful.
