I love your videos!! Thank you so much! Newly diagnosed 11/19/18 32 years old, female!! Relapse after relapse! Constant numbness and tingling in my hands arms legs and feet! Went from 1 brain lesion in August to 4 more brain lesions in November! Choose lemtrada waiting for insurance approval and I’m scared as hell! It’s been so much so fast but your videos literally give me comfort and hope! So thank you for sharing your journey!

I should start Monday as well... but with the new FDA warning, I'm waiting to see if my neurologist still wants me to take the drug :/. Thank you so much for this video!

Doing first Ocrevus infusion just before Xmas, neuro said lemy was if ocrevus doesn't work for me. Have aggressive MS just like you where first attack was a million symptoms + diagnosis. 2nd attack was only a few weeks after that. . Infusion is still the good part of a day as an out-patient so your tips are still very relevant

Hi izzy, can I ask, do you have any mercury amalgam fillings?

Recently stumbled upon your channel. Your story is very similar to mine! Do you have to switch to another DMT after 2 years? I just did my infusion but I never remember to ask what happens after 2 years. Thank you so much for sharing!!

Great informational video! I was wondering if after two years of Lemtrada and a person develops new lesions would they have to have another infusion or do a different drug?
@IzzyMS6 жыл бұрын
You can have a third infusion if you need it c

Yes! I've been taking madjool dates, filling them with almond butter then dipping them in melted dark chocolate. Sometimes I sprinkle a little sea salt on top. Love it!!!

Hi Izzy, how's that almond butter? I have never eaten a date. So, I'm on Ocrevus, just did my first and second half infusions. Instead of killing off the T cells, it kills off the B cells. Lemtrada and Tysabri, were my other choices, if Ocrevus, wasn't approved by insurance. I will keep updated on Lemtrada though. These DMT's are all scary, but not using one, is even more terrifying. I enjoy your videos girl.

Andrea W. Any tips for 1st time Ocrevus? I'm pretty scared about it.

@@christinavela1145 , drink water a few days before, if you're a hard to find vein person, get good sleep if possible, and definitely have a driver. They give you a high dose of Benadryl in the IV, that makes you super sleepy. They give you a little bit of Solumedrol in the IV to prevent any allergic reactions. They start the dosage off slowly, over about 4 or 5 hours, and then they observe you for an hour. I did great, no side effects from the drug, except sleepiness for about 2 to 3 weeks. Others are fine the next day though. I'm 53, and fatigue is one of my biggest MS symptoms, and I have had RRMS for about 20 years, with a really damaging attack, 5 years ago, that left damage. You will be fine. Have some benadryl at home, in the event you get some flushing in the next few days after the infusions. I have a friend, who has PPMS, and is 48. I have seen her walking very much improve, over the last year, she's been on Ocrevus. It literally improves some symptoms, and slows down progression. I have a channel, with my first half infusion video on there, and I slept through my entire 2nd half infusion, lol. I will be having a Chronically ill Hang out/ Live Event Bi-monthly very, very soon if anyone would love to join. There are other MSers, with diet tips, supplements and tricks for life with MS. Subscribe, and I hope you record your infusions, for others to see. It's easy peasy. I have been on 4 other DMT's that have failed me. Ocrevus doesn't have the GI effects, or really anything. I will sub to you, and good luck Christina ♥️♥️♥️♥️😘😘🌻🌻
