Yes its made after the F16.It happened when the Israelis sold to China an F16 prototype that they were developing. The Chinese with their ingenuity reverse engineered the aircraft and the dragon was born.

this is the B varient of the j-10 , which differs from other varients by the air intake (divertless with a bumb) + forward swept inlet cowel. I was confused at first cuz of that inlet which didn't appear in warthunder varient

Tejas doesnt even compare to the other delta wing jets in your list, its a good jet on paper, but political corruption might make it impossible for the IAF to properly use the tejas in battle. Why would you use an aircraft that you just made instead of the Su-30 or rafale that you already have.

The typhoons first flight was in 1994 and the first flight of the technology demonstrator was in 1986. The J-10 is an aircraft that was built from the technology transferred from the Israeli lavi project.
