JF17 and J10C are going to become backbone of Pakistan airforce, F16 will stay for long time and play a critical role but eventually Pakistan will concentrate these 2 platforms from China. It's good that these platforms can be maintained locally and experience gained will help Pakistan to develop it's own 5th generation aircraft. a smart plan than Indians

Pakistan has cancelled fifth gen fighter as no progress was made other then a study, no mockup never mind anything else, which is good as pakistan would have wasted money anyway fifth gen fighter are not easy even russain are struggling only usa and china can produce such tech as they have vast infrastructure n place to support such projects and money which pakistan doesn't have

@@algung2522 Well Indian's favorite point is where Pakistan will have the money to spend on developing such things, somebody pointed out in above comments that Pakistan has cancel it's 5th generation project which is understandable, but in any airforce not all aircrafts will be 5th generations, we can buy few expensive 5th generations that will become the frontline aircraft but the support other operations including ground attacks you need good platform and where 5th generation capability may not be needed. JF17 will provide that critical support while to protect such missions, 5th generation will give them the air cover. it will save a lot of money for the nation and experience gain is another thing

Pakistan Airforce made the right decision to augment their aerial strength and capabilities by adding J10c. Pakistan should go for local production of J10C. Pakistani air force & Malaysian air force (TUDM) should hold join exercise together. It will be between J-10 & F 18 hornet, maybe first round is each fighter have to flown as low as posible with speed also as slow as posible to see who poses the strongest engine

It's in service with the Chinese air force since 2003. The crash rates have been lower with the latest J-10 C version and Pakistan is the first foreign air force to operate it with the Chinese WS-10 B engine. It has WVR and BVR capability along with a Chinese Aesa radar and an IRST. The fly by wire system and the electronic warfare suite is also Chinese. It's also equipped with a HMD and it has HOBS capability. Your knowledge is extremely limited.
